Technical Pre-Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

As the company continues to grow, we are looking to fill this role as soon as possible with a technically minded individual to join us as a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer (m/f/d).

 

Your responsibilities

  • Preliminary technical assessment of customer and industry potential, as well as screening of relevant tenders
  • Capturing, evaluating and translating customer requirements into router models and solution designs
  • Preparation of technical use cases, white papers, presentations and market and competitive analyses
  • Technical briefing and support during the pre-sales phase, including clarification of IT infrastructure issues
  • Implementation and technical management of test installations through to successful rollout
  • Coordinating new software features with internal technical teams and attending review meetings
  • Delivering customer training and providing support for system enhancements and new requirements

What we’d like to see

  • A degree or vocational qualification in IT/network technology, or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience with network and router technologies, as well as an understanding of IT infrastructures
  • Experience in technical pre-sales, project or solution design is an advantage
  • Ability to analyse technical requirements in a structured manner and translate them into viable solutions
  • Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and internal teams
  • An independent, structured and responsible approach to work
  • Excellent command of German and a good command of English
  • willingness to travel
