Why is the EUTC so important?
The European Utilities Telecom Council (EUTC) plays a central role in the further development of standards, technologies and political frameworks in the EU. Its goal is to make it easier for utilities to procure reliable, cost-effective and future-proof products and services for smart grids.
This is done through close cooperation with:
- energy suppliers – to identify technical challenges and optimize the network infrastructure
- technology providers – to provide innovative solutions for critical communications networks
- Regulatory authorities at national and EU level – to shape the political framework for the digitalization of the energy sector
Garderos at the EUTC Annual Meeting in Brussels
Last week Garderos GmbHtook part in the EUTC annual meeting in Brussels. Our colleague Paul Cullen presented Garderos’ innovative router solutions, which were specifically developed for the demanding requirements of smart grids and energy suppliers.
